Weather: Sunshine/Showers

Distance Covered:

Arrived at St.Annes about half 11ish to find a few other kiters just rigged up ready to go out.
I waited for Jo to arrive, launched him then got on the water myself. Wind was abit up and down and it was a case of really working the kite hard and get yourself upwind every time a gust came through.
Was having a decent time just gettin loadsa practice in and practicin some gybes and occasionally attempting to jump. Almost tangled lines at one point with 2 other kites so the kite fell outta the sky which resulted ina good draggin on the mud flats.
Only out for an hour and a half before a storm arrived as we didn't wanna get caught up in the gust front. The storm never materialised and turned into miserable rain so sat around for a few hours to let it pass through in the hope that the wind would pick up.
The wind then picked up a tad but it switched direction so we drove round the corner to the Blackpool end of St. Annes.
